Improved precision software debuts at Precision Farming Event

MySOYL: Now more detailed, faster and tablet compatible

SOYL will reveal an upgrade of their web-based precision management platform, MySOYL at the Precision Farming Event in Newark on October 18th.

MySOYL is already used by more than 4,500 UK growers to generate and manage maps and other data related to all aspects of precision crop production.

The new MySOYL platform goes live in October and further advances SOYL’s complete precision farming solution. As well as refinements that will improve the speed at which growers can upload and access data, the upgrade will allow them to simultaneously view and compare more detail than ever before– up to eight separate layers of information. As well as this, for the first time ever, MySOYL will be fully functional on a tablet.

Upgraded MySOYL maps
“The new version of MySOYL enables farmers to view up to eight unique layers of data for a field or block of fields or the user can simply drill down through every layer to compare values and correlations – in some cases this could be over 100 layers of yield, soil, nutrient and imagery data,” explains Simon Parrington, SOYL’s commercial director. “Our scientists and agronomists are building increasingly complex data models to improve yields using precision data and MySOYL enables growers to profit from these advances whilst making the crop production decision making process easier and more precise.”

MySOYL is also integrated within Frontier Agriculture’s popular online crop production platform, MyFarm.

Support

Uniquely, MySOYL is supported by SOYL’s team of local expert advisors who offer full coverage across all arable regions of the UK.

SOYL has a dedicated technical support team for queries related to hardware and software. Growers can access one to one support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“To get the most from a tool like MySOYL, we understand that growers need support both as a new user and ongoing. Timing is critical in modern crop production, technology needs to work and any challenges need to be addressed quickly. Our free and unlimited support commitment ensures farmers who use our service can be confident that we will always be here to help when they need it – no hold ups. Farming isn’t a 9 to 5 operation and we’ve made sure our support will be available when SOYL growers need it - even if that’s at the weekend or early or late in the day,” adds Mr Parrington.

Precision Farming Show

Current and prospective SOYL clients are invited to find out more about MySOYL at the Precision Farming Show in Newark, Nottinghamshire on October 18th. The local SOYL advisory team will be on hand to discuss MySOYL and other elements of SOYL’s complete precision crop production solution.
