MySOYL is SOYL’s online system for viewing, analysing and using precision farming data to manage a whole business from one source with a single log on. “MySOYL pulls together a range of precision maps to make data analysis more intuitive. It allows more informed, intelligent and ultimately more profitable business decisions to be made,” explains SOYL’s commercial director, Simon Parrington.

An internet based system provides a flexible central platform for customers to store, share and act on their precision data, anytime and anywhere. MySOYL is connected to SOYL’s main database which holds precision data for millions of hectares. The online system provides growers and advisors with a simple and easy to use precision farming tool capable of performing complex data analysis.

Each SOYL customer can log into their own MySOYL account to view nutrient data, soil type maps, plant establishment, yield maps and satellite imagery. It includes all of the mapping and drawing tools customers expect for displaying and working with their data. Users can then create and export application files directly from the site.

Simon explains: “By listening to our customers we were able to identify these five key areas in which precision farming software could better meet their needs.”

Benefits of the software include:

Seamless and wireless data transfer: In 2011, pioneering system SOYLsync was introduced, allowing the transferring of application maps between offices and tractor based control systems. SOYLsync is fully integrated within MySOYL.
Availability of local support and training: SOYL’s unique field team of over 20 farm service staff allows local and bespoke training. MySOYL also comes with a range of easy to read quick start guides to help users with common tasks.
User friendliness: MySOYL is intuitive and most users are up and running within minutes.
Web based: By using an online system, clients are able to access MySOYL from a range of computers and mobile devices.
MySOYL is available as a standalone system or fully integrated within Frontier’s online crop production centre MyFarm.
