SOYL Winter Workshops

This November sees SOYL embark on a series of interactive farmer workshops. This is the fourth consecutive season that SOYL has organised these popular, FREE workshops. Last year alone more than 1000 growers attended an event and lines are now open to book places at this year’s workshops.

The workshops will focus on the latest precision crop production advice and techniques, all demonstrated using practical examples and SOYL customer case studies.

Events are planned in all key arable regions of the UK. Among the topics covered will be:

Understanding and making the best use of PK maps

Benefits of SOYLseed variable seed and how to determine the right seed rate

Using SOYLsense for variable rate applications of nitrogen, including trials results

Measuring and benchmarking soil potential with SOYL’s ‘Field Health Check’

Pros, cons and potential applications of drones, a major new innovation

Whole business management from a single online source with MySOYL

Synchronising data with Gatekeeper

Workshops will begin at 9.15am with lunch provided at 12.30pm. Attendees will also have the option to participate in a number of interactive, post lunch breakout sessions:

SOYLsense – tailored variable nitrogen using satellite technology

Getting started with precision crop production.

Refreshments will be available throughout the event and optional breakout sessions will end at approximately 2.30pm.
