SOYL Newsletter June 2013
Cereals 2013 12-13th June
SOYL will be exhibiting at this year’s Cereals event at Boothby Graffoe, near Lincoln, on stand 10-J-1008.
The SOYL stand will be located in the ‘Crop Plots East’ area, next to the Frontier Agriculture stand. A map of the site can be viewed here.
The SOYL team will be available throughout the event to discuss how SOYL can assist your business. Visit our stand to see:
Frontier MyFarm, the exciting new web-based tool for customers to easily access, view and manage data. Through Frontier MyFarm growers can view SOYL nutrient data, create recommendations, export application files and generate variable rate seed files.
Live demonstrations of SOYLsense, the UK’s number one variable rate nitrogen service, using authentic imagery from this season.
Results of SOYLseed variable rate seed rate trials.

Gatekeeper and SOYL
SOYL precision crop data to support your crop production decisions has always been available digitally through Gatekeeper as well as in the traditional paper format.
A number of layers of SOYL information are available to import into your Gatekeeper profile. Particularly useful is the ability for SOYL to link our recommendation system with your Gatekeeper profile so that we can seamlessly publish recommendation reports directly to you. You can then communicate with your GPS hardware on farm, giving you complete control over your products, systems and stock management.
SOYL can help with this process. Read more at our Gatekeeper page on the SOYL website.
Interest in monitoring soil organic matter levels has increased in recent years. SOYL has a number of solutions to help with this, including the addition of organic matter testing to your existing SOYL mapping booking for just £1/ha.
For more information, speak to your local contact, or call Rebecca Tickle in the bookings team on 01635 204190 to request additional analysis with your order.
